Use the official letter and claim process

Treat the Manila clinic as a separate access question
The clinic’s appointment page requires VA health enrollment and registration as a clinic patient. It describes eligibility review and Philippine contact requirements for registration. Confirm your individual situation with the clinic before relying on an appointment. Do not assume a Manila clinic means you have local clinic access in Davao or another destination.
Plan for care outside the confirmed scope
Identify how general medical needs, emergencies, dental care and family healthcare will be handled where they are not confirmed under your benefits. Ask the appropriate insurer and provider about the actual plan. A covered condition and an accessible local care pathway are different questions.
Keep compensation separate from healthcare assumptions
If you already receive VA compensation, use the amount actually available to you in the affordability tool. The tool does not calculate entitlement from a disability rating, forecast an award or determine tax treatment. Benefit and medical documents should be handled through secure official channels, not a general sales inquiry.
